Founded in 1966 with a small store in Ipswich, Tile & Stone Gallery is one of the UK’s leading importers and distributors of porcelain and ceramic tiles. We have four stores across East Anglia, with our Norwich tile showroom being the most recently opened in 2016.

New Porch flooring

We have recently been searching for internal/external floor tiles for a porch we are planning. We needed advice on suitable materials ,finishes ,thickness,colours and available sizes. Their friendly practical advice was very reassuring and surpassed the impersonal reaction of other local suppliers.
Now that we are experts we will certainly go back to them!

Great experience at the Norwich store. I wanted something a little different and the big stores offered all the same type. Staff very helpful and I took advantage of buying a sample tile to take home. My bathroom has now been finished and I think it looks fab.

We spent a lot of time looking around tile shops in Norwich trying to find some victorian style tiles for an outside path. All of the usual 'big name' places didn't have anything of decent quality but luckily I stumbled across The Tile & Stone Gallery and they stock a range that was just what we were looking for. I visit the Norwich branch of Tile & Stone Gallery regularly as a trade customer, they are my go to for all of my materials and tiling supplies.

Steve, Matt and Chris are all very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.

I’ll always advise my customers to pay them a visit when looking for tiles as I know they’ll be well looked after and given good sound advise from people that really know their stuff.

I haven't received or fitted my floor tiles yet, but the service so far has been excellent! Welcoming, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. They seem to go the extra mile naturally. Twice in store and I've felt so well looked after, mainly by Matt. Email follow up is always prompt and gives all the agreed information (I hate it when people don't fully answer what you've asked, and you have to ask again!). Just excellent. I hope delivery is just as good, as well as the quality of the tiles when I fit them. If so, I wouldn't consider going anywhere else in future.

I have worked in retail for over 25 years and this is the best customer service I have ever received. From the outset Steve was attentive, helpful and very professional. He got all of the basics spot on, acknowledging as soon as we came in, helped with the selection, advised on how best to order, called us exactly when he said he would when the tiles were ready. When we arrived to collect, although he was in the middle of what sounded like a complex phone call, he acknowledged us straight away so we were happy to wait. If every retail experience was like this , shopping would be much more pleasurable. We felt like a valued customer and when we redo our whole bathroom suite later in the year, Steve will get the business. Outstanding.

It's unusual to come across a business who has nailed customer service. They have done it here, tremendously helpful and after visits to other tile shops this is the best tile shop in Norwich.
