Kitchen Wall Tiles

A quick wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent is usually all it takes to keep your kitchen wall tiles looking clean and fresh. Most glazed ceramic and porcelain tiles are resistant to stains, grease, and splashes, making them ideal for use around hobs, sinks, and other high-use areas. Unglazed tiles can also be used, as long as they are sealed correctly during installation

There’s no one-size-fits-all. Smaller tiles like metro or mosaic styles are great for splashbacks and detailed designs. Larger tiles create a more seamless look and are easier to clean with fewer grout lines.

Gloss and satin finishes are popular for kitchen walls because they’re easy to wipe clean and help reflect light, brightening the space. Matt finishes are often used to give a softer, more understated look, but may need more frequent cleaning near cooking areas.

There is no right or wrong answer. It really depends on the look you're going for. As a guide, splashbacks are usually tiled from the worktop to just above the hob or kitchen units. For feature walls, you might choose to go full-height or tile areas where extra protection is needed.
