Luxury floor tiles: a statement of opulence and elegance

At Tile & Stone Gallery, we believe that luxury is a feeling, not just a style, which is why we’ve curated a collection of some of the most opulent luxury floor tiles available in the UK.

Our range of luxury floor tiles combines the natural beauty of stone, marble and slate, with the practicality and cost-effectiveness of ceramic and porcelain, so your home can look like a palace, without the high maintenance or price tag.

Whilst materials like natural stone and marble would be nice to have in your home, there are a few disadvantages. They’re expensive to buy, difficult to lay and both difficult to maintain to a high standard.

Porcelain and ceramic luxury floor tiles have the advantage of being more affordable, as they take less time to lay, they don’t need sealing, and they’ll last longer as they won’t fade under UV light. Whilst, at the same time, continue to look so luxurious that guests won’t be able to tell the difference!

  • Are luxury floor tiles easy to maintain?

    All of our luxury floor tiles are made from porcelain or ceramic, which means they’re incredibly easy to clean and maintain, compared to natural materials. Simply use a soft-bristled broom to sweep, or a soft vacuum cleaner attachment, then mop with warm water and a mild floor cleaning detergent.

  • What colour grout should I use for luxury floor tiles?

    Luxury floor tiles that mimic marble and stone often look best in a seamless style, which means we’d recommend thinner grout lines between each tile, with the grout colour matching the colour of the tile as closely as possible. There are exceptions to this, however, as you’re free to choose a lighter or darker grout to make each tile stand out.

  • Are luxury floor tiles suitable for under floor heating?

    As our luxury floor tiles are made from high-quality porcelain and ceramic, they are suitable for use with both water and electric-based underfloor heating, as they are both great conductors of heat, unlike their natural counterparts.

  • Are luxury floor tiles easy to lay?

    Our luxury floor tiles are as easy to lay as our mid-range and budget floor tiles, as they’re made from ceramic or porcelain. We would, however, recommend having them installed by a professional tiler to ensure consistency and durability.
