We have always ended up going back to the Tile & Stone Gallery for tiles, as they have such a great selection of good quality tiles with character at a sensible price. You can see them in their excellent showroom. But the main attraction is the level of advice and service, helping with quantaties and grouts etc. This time, it was James, who did everything he possibly could to help us at every stage, even on our small extra order.

Very helpful staff and wide range of tiles well displayed. Able to negotiate prices and most tiles and outside slabs in stock for rapid delivery. Make some more well known local suppliers look less than satisfactory.

I placed an order which amounted to over £11k. We had the tiles delivered and as we did not require them at the time due to a delay in our new-build, we placed the tiles in secure indoor storage for a number of months. On opening the packaging when we came to lay the tiles we found that 29 square meters of tiles to be broken. Tile & Stone Gallery flatly refused to replace the tiles. They refused to accept any liability, which I felt was completely disgraceful. We got a minimal discount when we had to replace the tiles with a subsequent order. I found the customer service to be awful and would advise anyone using this company to be very careful. I will definitely never use Tile & Stone Gallery ever again! I only gave 1 star as there was no option for zero!

...........It would appear I can not post another review, however I feel I must respond to you Nick.

It would have been impossible to examine every pallet of tiles because of the size of the shipment. All the broken tiles were in the middle of the packaged pallets so could not be seen without opening every tile pack.

I would have expected a few damaged tiles in an order that size but not 29 square meters!!

The fact the tiles sat for 10 months is irrelevant, as they were not touched at all during this period and were securely stored in a locked indoor storage area.

If you think you did your best then as a company your customer service skills are sadly lacking!
